During my second year of university we were set a project to redesign the front cover for Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures In Wonderland'. 

My interpretation of the front cover revolved around the ever presence of time in the book. There is a time and a place for each charter and set moment where Alice (portrayed on the minute hand) would catch up with the white rabbit (Portrayed on the hour hand). I placed Alice on the hour hand because she was chasing the white rabbit who was driving the story on to each new character and event in the book. 

I settled on a plain coloured motive to not distract from the image symbolism of the pocket watch and the faces on the dial.
